Factors affecting prices
Titanium material grade and type
Industrial pure titanium (such as TA1, TA2): commonly used, with good corrosion resistance and moderate strength.The price is relatively low.
Titanium alloys (such as TC4, Gr5): Aluminum, vanadium and other elements are added, which have high strength (close to steel) and light weight.This is the mainstream material for high-end applications, and the price is expensive.
Other special alloys (such as TC16, TB3): used in higher-demanding aerospace and other fields, they are expensive.
Screw specifications and dimensions
Diameter and length: The larger the size, the more materials are used, and the higher the price.The prices of small screws for M2 and large bolts for M20 are very different.
Thread standards: metric, imperial, American, etc.
Head type and groove type: hexagon socket, plum blossom, pan head, countersunk head, etc., the processing complexity is different.
Performance levels and standards
Commercial grade/ordinary grade: used in general industry, bicycles, models, etc., the requirements are not high.
Higher level: it needs to meet strict material, heat treatment and testing standards (such as ultrasonic flaw detection).The price of such screws may be more than 10 times that of ordinary grade.
Surface treatment
Natural color (titanium primary color), anodized (can produce blue, gold, purple, etc.), galvanized, dacromet, etc.Anodizing can not only increase aesthetics but also improve wear resistance, which will increase costs.
Purchase quantity
Retail (a few pieces, dozens of pieces): the price is high.
Small batches (hundreds, thousands of pieces): there are discounts.
Large-volume OEM orders (more than 10,000 pieces): the price is more advantageous.
